Mac Conkey Agar No2 by the company Bioprepare is a nutrient material in which, with the addition of bile salts No2, enterococcus also grows (in addition to enterobacteria). Gram(-) negative enterobacteria that ferment lactose produce red or pink colonies. Bile salts No. 2 and crystal violet inhibit the growth of gram(+) positive cocci except Enterococcus. The neutral red indicator changes color with the breakdown of lactose. The package includes 10 pieces of 90mm and leaves at 6-12?C.
